This is the oldest dvd-rom drive by Liteon, but it's still being used by many owners. It was sold in big quantities and was rebadged by different companies, notably by Sony who sold many thousands of it as DDU-1211. It's a 12x40 drive with a very good audio extraction speed of 32x average.

The above firmwares are original and official. I have a couple more in binary format at my binary firmware page which you can easily flash in Windows with MtkWinFlash or a bit less easy with Mtkflash
